Technology
State-of-the-art equipment for top-quality dental care
The Clinique Dentaire Elysées Ponthieu is equipped with the latest technology to ensure that patients receive high-quality, modern and reliable care.
Every year, we invest in state-of-the-art equipment to bring you the very best.
Technology
Optical aids
Optical aids are an indispensable tool in the dentist's daily practice. They considerably increase the precision of his gestures and leave no room for error.
Dentistry can no longer be satisfied with a naked-eye view of its surgical field. In fact, dentistry is a microsurgical specialty in its own right. The work involves intervention on small structures, requiring the use of instruments whose size is related to the operating field, from one centimetre to a few millimetres.

Technology
PRF centrifuge
PRFs are Fibrin-Rich Platelets used in dental surgery to promote healing and bone growth.
The clinic is equipped with a centrifuge that enables us to create PRF without having to resort to more restrictive hospital techniques.
PRFs are obtained by centrifuging blood.
Several 10 ml tubes of blood are collected and centrifuged: the platelet-rich concentrate is then recovered, dissociated from the other blood components.
FRPs are mixed with bone graft to fill a jawbone or sinus defect. They can also be used in membrane form to seal sinus openings, cover implants or fill periodontal pockets.
Technology
Computer-aided manufacturing
CEREC is a state-of-the-art 3D printer that enables you to create aesthetic, long-lasting ceramic restorations in a single session. During a single appointment, decay or defective fillings are removed, as are weak parts of the tooth. Using a camera, a precise optical impression of the area to be restored is recorded and visualized on screen. The restoration is designed by computer, then automatically cut from a ceramic block. The filling is then bonded in the mouth, and the final aesthetic result is immediate.
Benefits
A single appointment and a single anaesthetic.
Immediate comfort.
No temporary filling.
A function similar to that of natural teeth

Technology
Zoom lamp
The ZOOM lamp is used for in-clinic tooth whitening. The scientifically developed technique is safe, effective and long-lasting.
Bleaching is performed in the dentist's chair, with the patient's lips and gums protected beforehand. Protective goggles must be worn.
A whitening gel is then applied to the teeth and activated with the ZOOM lamp.
This diffuses UV light to enhance the effects of the gel and its penetration into the tooth surface. Stains and discoloration are gradually eliminated, while tooth structure is preserved.
The procedure takes around 30 to 90 minutes, with immediate results.
With good dental hygiene and regular check-ups, it's possible to maintain a dazzling smile for many years to come.
Technology
Laser
The laser is a modern dentistry technology used in combination with conventional techniques to improve certain procedures and minimize post-operative effects. It works by emitting a high-energy, extremely precise beam of light. On contact with living tissue, this beam is more or less absorbed, depending on its intensity.
Its precision makes it possible to treat a dilapidated area (e.g. caries or periodontitis) without damaging surrounding tissue. Completely painless, it requires no anaesthetic. Bleeding is reduced, and the risk of edema and hemorrhage is minimized.

Technology
Photography
Intra-oral photography brings a real advantage to a dentist's daily practice. It allows :
show our patients their precise clinical situation: caries cavities, defective fillings, ill-fitting crowns...
exchange ideas with dental technicians, particularly during aesthetic clinical cases.
show patients the results of treatment and compare them with the initial situation (before/after).
illustrate clinical cases for scientific articles.
Technology
3D Cone Beam Scanner
More precise than a panoramic X-ray, and with less radiation than a conventional CT scan, it produces images of the skull (bones, cartilage and teeth) in all planes of space, offering the possibility of 3D panoramic reconstruction. All this in a single examination lasting less than a minute. High-resolution image results are instantaneous, enabling us to refine a diagnosis or detect a pathology.
It is indicated in certain specific cases:
implantology, to create implant guides and ensure the position of anatomical elements prior to implant placement.
endodontics, to clarify endodontic anatomy or search for endodontic pathologies.
oral surgery, to locate cysts or benign tumors, clarify the position of wisdom teeth, impacted teeth...

Technology
Conscious sedation or MEOPA
For emotional and anxious patients, the clinic offers the option of conscious sedation with MEOPA. As a result, the sessions pass virtually unnoticed.
Conscious sedation promotes physical and mental comfort by making the patient feel relaxed, without putting him or her to sleep. The patient can hear and respond to requests from the nursing team.
Sedation is administered by inhalation, and its effects wear off very quickly after the procedure. Don't hesitate to ask the medical team about this solution.
Technology
RECIPROC endodontic system
RECIPROC is a new root preparation concept used for endodontic treatment (tooth devitalization).
It saves time and improves processing reliability.
The instrument parameters are more precise in order to :
create a minimal cavity to access the roots to be treated, while preserving as much tooth tissue as possible.
respect root trajectories and ensure adequate expansion for cleaning and disinfecting.
prevent new infections by ensuring that endodontic treatment is watertight and long-lasting.
The patient gains in efficiency and comfort, as treatment is faster than with conventional procedures.
